Beef with carrots

  • 400 g beef chunks
  • 800 g carrots
  • 1 glass of red wine
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 bouquet garni
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion

Directions

Slice the carrots and soak them in lukewarm water for 2 hours, discard the water. In a cast iron pan, sauté the chunks of meat with minced onions in a tablespoon of oil. When the meat is well-seared, moisten with red wine and water. Add pepper. Add the bouquet garni, garlic and sliced carrots. Cover and simmer for 2 hours.
