Clean the lettuce and make it ready-to-eat.
Cut the cucumber into thin slices.
Wash the strawberries, clean and cut into small pieces (divide into four or eight pieces).
For the dressing, finely dice the shallot and mix with all ingredients.
Serve the salad in small bowls, garnish with the strawberries and drizzle the dressing over it.
The salad is absolutely delicious with some raspberries or blueberries instead of the strawberries as well.
