Ingredients

  • 10 g (1 tsp) olive oil
  • ½ sweet onion
  • 300 gr kale
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 6 gr (1 teaspoon) minced garlic
  • 460 ml sodium-free chicken stock or chicken broth (see recipe below)
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped 
  • 10 gr shredded stemmed kale
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion, celery and garlic and sauté till softened, about 5 minutes. Stir-in the stock, tomato and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir-in the kale and season with pepper.
