Miguel Ángel Silva shows how dialysis can support a life filled with possibility, purpose, and hope.

For more than a decade, Miguel Ángel Silva from Spain has built a life around dialysis, one that still includes summer days by the sea, time with family, creativity, and hope. With the support of his care team, he has learned to adapt, making treatment part of his life rather than letting it define it.

Miguel says, "Dialysis is a heavy burden in everyday life, but it keeps me going. If it weren’t for dialysis, I wouldn’t be here today."

A diagnosis of chronic kidney disease can bring uncertainty and many questions about what life will look like. But as shown by Miguel, it doesn't mean life has to stop.
