Nutrition Tips
If you like your frozen yoghurt tangy, add less sugar.
You can liven up your frozen yoghurt with fruit to taste. Kidney-friendly fresh fruits include: strawberries, blueberries, lingonberries, pears and apples. A handful of berries a day for dialysis patients.
As a simple alternative, you can freeze a packaged yoghurt in its pot. Carefully insert a (wooden or plastic) lolly stick into the centre of the sealed pot and place in the freezer. As soon as the yoghurt is frozen through, remove the foil and the pot for a refreshing snack. Enjoy!
